Mentoring refund policy
These are the refund rules for QuokkaLabs frontend career mentoring (1:1 career mentoring and the 8-session intensive). They follow the tuition refund standard in [Table 4] of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Establishment and Operation of Private Teaching Institutes and Extracurricular Lessons.
1. Before the start: withdrawal
Before the first session starts, you get a full refund for any reason.
2. After the start, if you stop for your own reasons
We compare the teaching time that has passed by the day you ask for a refund with the total teaching time, and refund at these rates.

1:1 career mentoring (one 60-minute session)
The total teaching time is 60 minutes. Before 20 minutes you get 2/3 back, before 30 minutes 1/2, and after 30 minutes nothing.
Examples (₩150,000 paid, teaching period within one month)
- Refund requested after 15 minutes: ₩100,000 refunded
- Refund requested after 25 minutes: ₩75,000 refunded
- Refund requested after 40 minutes: ₩0 refunded
8-session intensive (8 sessions of 30 minutes)
The total teaching time is 8 sessions. After 1 or 2 sessions you get 2/3 back, after 3 sessions 1/2, and after 4 or more sessions nothing.
Examples (₩640,000 paid, teaching period within one month)
- Refund requested after 2 of 8 sessions: ₩426,666 refunded
- Refund requested after 3 of 8 sessions: ₩320,000 refunded
- Refund requested after 4 of 8 sessions: ₩0 refunded
3. If the teaching period is longer than one month
The 8-session intensive runs twice a week for four weeks, so its teaching period is within one month and the tiers in section 2 apply as written. If a rescheduled program runs longer than one month, the payment is split by month: the month in which the refund reason arises follows section 2, and every later month is refunded in full.
4. If the mentor cannot continue
If the mentoring cannot continue for reasons on the mentor's side, everything not yet delivered is refunded in full.
Example: you paid ₩640,000 and 3 of 8 sessions took place before the mentor had to stop, so the 5 remaining sessions, ₩400,000, are refunded.
5. When and how refunds are paid
Refunds are paid within 5 days of the day the refund reason arises, to the payment method you used. When a card refund shows on your statement depends on your card issuer.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email dante@quokkalabs.net with the email you paid with, the plan name, and the reason. If you stop for your own reasons, the day we receive your email is the day the refund reason arises.
7. Consent record
You must agree to this policy before you can pay. The policy version you agreed to and the time you agreed are stored with the payment.
